Getting started
Getting started with clssrm
Set up your workspace, create your first weekly class, and enroll your students.
For owners setting up clssrm for the first time.
Create your workspace
- 1
Open Create your account.
- 2
Continue with Google, or enter your name, email, and a password of at least eight characters.
- 3
If you used email, open the verification link sent to your address.
- 4
On Set up your workspace, enter your Business or teaching name and confirm the Timezone for your classes.
- 5
Choose the Currency for charges and payments.
- 6
Select Create workspace.
Create a weekly class and add students
An instructor is optional when you create a class. You can leave it unassigned, then add an instructor under Instructors and assign them later.
- 1
Open Classes and select Add class. Enter the class details, choose the weekly days and times, then review and save the class.
- 2
Open Students to add people individually or import a CSV.
Enroll students in their weekly sessions
Adding a student record does not automatically enroll them in a class. You can enroll a student while adding them individually, or afterwards from their profile. Students imported by CSV also need to be enrolled.
- 1
Open Students, select a student, and find Enrolled classes.
- 2
Select Enroll in class (Enroll on smaller screens), choose the class and the weekly sessions they will attend, then select Save enrollment.
Check the roster and record attendance or payments
- 1
Open Calendar and select a class on a specific date. Check that the expected students appear in its roster.
- 2
For a session dated today or earlier, select Edit attendance, mark bookings Attended or No-show, then select Save attendance.
- 3
When you need to record money owed or received, open the student's Charges tab. Add a charge if needed, or select Mark paid on an existing pending charge once payment has been received. Review recorded payments in the student's Payments tab.
